Melissa Hyak’s communications expertise stands out for her diverse exposure spanning the newsroom to the boardroom, from B2C companies to B2B enterprises.

As a Channel NewsAsia broadcast journalist, Melissa’s conversational delivery, sharp interviewing skills, and confident adlibbing earned her concurrent appointments as permanent anchor of its night primetime belt and resident presenter for two long-running current affairs programs, Talking Point and 360.Melissa has also reported out of the US, Europe, and SE Asia, and on the Greater China region as CNA’s Hong Kong Correspondent. Melissa’s versatility also extends to earlier stints as a Walt Disney-endorsed presenter on Disney Club Singapore and Class 95FM’s morning drivetime host. Post-media, Melissa has led internal and external communications portfolios at both B2B and B2C multinationals. A corporate all-rounder, Melissa has steered crisis communication for high-pressure developments such as financial ratings downgrade, M&A, data breach, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Melissa currently remains active in media as a radio news editor and corporate event emcee/moderator and media trainer.

Hwee Goh was classically trained at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, on scholarship from MediaCorp Singapore. At Channel NewsAsia, Hwee spent most of her time on the political desk, reporting on the leading news of the day. She finished out her time at CNA as editor, adjudicating on the lineup for the news and editorial angles daily. Hwee’s experience in editorial and strategic communications is valued by clients, for giving them clarity on how to approach with media engagements as well as with preparing messages that will satisfy the needs of the media.

Hwee is well known on the Singapore bookish circuit, regularly speaking at schools and moderating international and local authors at events.
